NECなど、在宅高齢者支援に向けたBPSD発症予測サービスの開発を開始
東京, 2022年09月09日 - (JCN Newswire) - MS&ADインシュアランス グループの三井住友海上火災保険株式会社(代表取締役社長：舩曵 真一郎)、三井住友海上あいおい生命保険株式会社(代表取締役社長：加治 資朗)、および日本電気株式会社(代表取締役 執行役員社長 兼 CEO：森田 隆之、以下「NEC」)の3社は、9月からセンサー・AIを活用してBPSD※1を予測することにより在宅高齢者を支援するサービスの開発に着手します。
1.背景
高齢化社会の進行に伴い、認知症患者も年々増加しています。内閣府によると、65才以上の認知症患者は2025年には約700万人に達するといわれています。
このような環境において持続可能な社会を実現するためには、認知症リスクの予測や予防が欠かせません。また、認知症に罹患した方の行動や心の動きを予測し、状況に応じた適切なケアを行うことで、認知症に罹患した方とその家族が安心・安全に生活できる環境作りが大切です。
2.取組の内容
今般、戦略パートナーシップ※2を締結する三井住友海上とNECは、三井住友海上あいおい生命とともに在宅でのBPSD発症予測にかかる実証実験を実施し、在宅高齢者を支援するサービスの開発を行います。
NECの持つセンサー・AI技術に、三井住友海上と三井住友海上あいおい生命の保険商品や「AIとIoTにより認知症高齢者問題を多面的に解決する東京アプローチ※3の確立」の成果を組み合わせることにより、在宅認知症高齢者のQOL(Quality Of Life)の向上とご家族・介護スタッフの負担軽減を実現するサービスの社会実装を目指します。
