三菱電機、北米向け72.5kV「三菱タンク形真空遮断器」を新発売

温室効果ガスを使用しない真空バルブ遮断および高圧ドライエア絶縁方式を採用

東京, 2022年10月05日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、電力会社の変電所などに設置される大電流遮断器の北米市場向け新製品として、温室効果ガスを使用しない環境に配慮した真空バルブによる電流遮断および高圧ドライエア（乾燥空気）絶縁方式を採用した72.5kV「三菱タンク形真空遮断器」を10月7日に発売します。

電力会社や鉄道会社などの変電所に設置され、落雷事故時などの際、瞬時に電力系統を遮断する遮断器においては、近年、環境負荷低減や保守点検作業の効率化へのニーズが高まっています。米国カリフォルニア州では、各電力会社が温室効果の高いSF6ガス（六フッ化硫黄ガス）※1を使用しない真空遮断器の導入を検討しており、今後、他州でもSF6ガスフリー化の動きが広がっていくと想定されます。

当社は今回、半世紀以上にわたり技術を蓄積してきた高い信頼性を持つ当社の真空バルブと、SF6ガスに替えて乾燥空気を使用した高圧ドライエア絶縁方式を採用した、北米向け72.5kV「三菱タンク形真空遮断器」を開発し、環境負荷の低減と保守点検作業の効率化に貢献します。
