専門的立場からの支援を受けることで、苦情処理の実効性・効率性を向上

東京, 2022年10月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、企業の苦情処理の支援・推進を目指して今年6月に設立された一般社団法人ビジネスと人権対話救済機構（JaCER）※1に発足メンバー（正会員）として加盟しました。

JaCERは「国連ビジネスと人権に関する指導原則」に準拠した非司法的な苦情処理プラットフォームである「対話救済プラットフォーム」を提供しており、国際行動規範や各国の国内規範などへの違反ならびに違反が疑われる案件について、この「対話救済プラットフォーム」を通じて苦情・通報を受け付け、専門的な立場から、会員企業の苦情処理の支援・推進を目指す組織です。

当社は従来、自社単独で人権に関わる苦情・相談窓口を設けて対応してきましたが、サプライチェーンにおける人権侵害情報の迅速な把握と是正活動のさらなる強化、および苦情処理における透明性向上を図るため、この度JaCERへの加盟を決定しました。2017年9月の「人権の尊重に関する方針」※2の策定、2022年2月のResponsible Business Alliance※3への加盟を通じたサステナビリティ対応の促進などと併せて、今後は苦情処理メカニズムの強化を図り、引き続き、人権が尊重される社会の実現に貢献していきます。
