TOYOTA、小型バス「コースター」の一部仕様の販売再開予定について発表

豊田, 2022年10月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - 販売開始が遅れておりました弊社小型バス「コースター」の一部改良予定のモデルのうち、弊社開発の「1GDエンジン」を搭載する一部仕様を、2023年3月（予定）に発売するはこびとなりましたので、お知らせいたします。具体的な商品情報につきましては、発売に向けて準備が整い次第、案内申し上げます。

一方、日野自動車株式会社による開発の「N04Cエンジン（尿素SCRシステム搭載）」を搭載する予定で開発・準備を進めていた、その他の仕様につきましては、必要な燃費改良の目処が立たない状況であり、同エンジンの搭載を断念せざるをえないと判断いたしました。当該仕様につきましては、他のエンジンを搭載するなど、代替案を引き続き鋭意検討してまいります。

「コースター」につきましては、日野自動車のエンジン認証不正問題を受け、長期に亘り販売停止が続いており、お客様をはじめとする関係者の皆さまに大変ご迷惑、ご心配をおかけしておりますことを、改めてお詫び申し上げます。
