Honda、中国においてEV用バッテリーをCATLから長期安定調達

EV「e:Nシリーズ」向けバッテリーを2030年までに123GWh調達

東京, 2022年12月08日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaの中国現地法人である本田技研工業（中国）投資有限公司（本社：北京総経理井上勝史）は、2022年12月8日現地時間16時（日本時間：17時）に以下を発表しましたので、その内容をご案内いたします

Hondaは中国において、CATLより、2024年から2030年までの7年間で合計123GWh分のEV（電気自動車）「e:N（イーエヌ）」シリーズ用バッテリーを安定的に調達します。

HondaとCATLは、2020年に新エネルギー⾞※⽤バッテリーに関する包括的戦略アライアンス契約を締結し、バッテリーの共同開発、安定供給、リサイクル・リユースといった幅広い領域を対象に協業してきました。2022年11月には、中国においてe:Nシリーズ向けのバッテリーをCATLから一括調達する新会社「衆鋭（北京）貿易服務有限公司（HDG（Beijing）Trading Service Co., Ltd）」を設立しています。

Hondaは中国でのEV販売拡大に向け、EV用のバッテリーを安定調達する取り組みの一環として、2024年から2030年までの7年間で、この新会社を通じて、CATLから合計123GWh分のEV用バッテリーを調達します。このバッテリーは、CATLが現在建設を進める宜春工場にて集中生産される予定です。

Hondaは中国において、2027年までにe:Nシリーズを10車種投入し、EV販売を拡大していきます。2050年カーボンニュートラルの実現に向け、Hondaはバッテリーの安定調達も含め、今後もバリューチェーン全体で電動化に取り組んでいきます。
