マツダ、ドライバー異常時対応システムに関する最新の国連協定規則に国内初対応

「MAZDA CX-60」が、改正保安基準に基づく型式指定を国土交通大臣より日本で初めて取得

広島, 2022年12月20日 - (JCN Newswire) - マツダ株式会社（以下、マツダ）のクロスオーバーSUV「MAZDA CX-60」*1が、日本で初めて、ドライバー異常時対応システムに関する最新*2の「国連協定規則第79号第4改訂」を踏まえた道路運送車両法の改正保安基準*3に適合するものとして、国土交通大臣より型式指定を取得しました。

マツダは、人を深く研究し、人体や脳のメカニズムを理解・モデル化することで、高度運転支援技術の開発を加速させ、2040年を目途に自動車技術で対策可能なものについて、自社の新車が原因となる「死亡事故ゼロ」を目指しています。その一環として、本年9月に販売開始したCX-60から、意識喪失*4に対して、ドライバーの運転が継続できないと判断した場合にクルマが自動で減速停止し、緊急通報まで繋げる先進安全技術「ドライバー異常時対応システム（DEA）*5」を導入しました。今回の取得は、上記の改正保安基準の新型車への適用が予定される2023年9月に先駆けた日本初のものとなります。
