福岡県・CJPT・JR九州、BRTひこぼしラインでFCバス実証運転を実施

地域交通への商用FCモビリティ普及に向けた具体的取り組みを開始

豊田, 2023年02月08日 - (JCN Newswire) - 福岡県（知事：服部誠太郎）、Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies株式会社（以下CJPT、本社：東京都文京区、代表取締役社長：中嶋裕樹）、九州旅客鉄道株式会社（以下JR九州、本社：福岡市博多区、代表取締役社長執行役員：古宮洋二）は、2023年夏頃開業予定のBRTひこぼしライン（正式名称：日田彦山線BRT）において、環境にやさしい次世代エネルギーである水素を活用した燃料電池小型バス（以下FC小型バス）の実証運転を実施することに合意しました。

本取り組みは、福岡県とCJPTとの間で、カーボンニュートラル実現に向けた水素社会構築を目指し、昨年12月26日に締結した「水素社会実現に向けた商用FCモビリティ普及に関する連携協定」の具体化の第1弾となるものです。福岡県とCJPT、そしてJR九州の3者で、地域交通へのFCモビリティ導入の実現に向け、実証運転に取り組みます。

BRTひこぼしラインは、「ひと、地域、みらいにやさしい」をコンセプトとし、地域の皆様のご協力を頂きながら、開業に向けて準備が進んでいます。次世代車両であるFC小型バスの実証運転は、「環境にやさしい交通機関」として地域振興の歩みをさらに進めるものになると期待しています。

今後、FC小型バスの実証運転開始に向け3者で準備を進めてまいります。
