車工会とCJPTが共同で商用電動車と架装に関する方向性を共有

架装関連企業とも連携し、商用電動車の普及に向けた取り組みを推進

豊田, 2023年03月31日 - (JCN Newswire) - Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies株式会社（本社：東京都文京区、代表取締役社長：中嶋裕樹、以下、CJPT）＊1は、CASEの社会実装・普及に向け、輸送業が抱える課題の解決やカーボンニュートラルの実現への貢献を目指して、一般社団法人日本自動車車体工業会（本社：東京都港区、会長：宮内一公、以下、車工会）と連携し、初の試みとして架装メーカーおよび関連架装機器メーカー（以下、業界各社）と共に、商用車電動化WGを設立し、商用電動車と架装に関わる課題と対応の方向性を共有いたしました。

商用車の中でも、小型・中型トラックは日本の「はたらく車」の中核であり、重要な社会インフラと言えます。トラックの電動化を進めるにあたり、架装においても従来のエンジン駆動のベース車とは異なる技術的対応が必要となります。架装の種類や方法は多種多様であるため、CJPTは商用電動車の普及に向けて業界各社との連携が重要と考え、架装の電動化対応に向けた取り組みを2022年2月より推進してまいりました。

2050年カーボンニュートラルを目指し、次世代に引き継ぐ持続可能な社会の構築に向けた具体的な取り組みが一層必要とされています。今後、商用架装車と架装機器＊2の電動化に向けて開発を円滑に行うため、CJPTは本活動を通じて業界各社の輪を拡げ、商用電動車の普及を着実に進めてまいります。
