北海道新聞社とNEC、北海道の活性化に向けた観光DXサービスの共同事業を開始

東京, 2023年06月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社北海道新聞社(本社：北海道札幌市、代表取締役社長：宮口宏夫、以下「北海道新聞社」)と日本電気株式会社(本社：東京都港区、代表取締役執行役員社長兼 CEO：森田隆之、以下「NEC」)は、観光を軸に、来訪者の利便性向上・周遊促進や観光地経営の高度化など北海道経済の活性化に向けた共同事業を開始します。

その第一弾として、北海道新聞社が運営する食と観光に特化したWEBメディア「TripEat北海道(注1)」のコンテンツとNECの観光DXサービス「FORESTIS(フォレスティス、注2)」を連携させ、LINE公式アカウント(以下TripEat北海道公式アプリ)を共同開発し、6月10日(土)にリリースしました。

本事業は、従来型の観光に加えて、DX推進の観点からも取り組むことで、地域の観光課題を顕在化し、その解決方法を探ります。これらの取り組みを通じて観光起点の行動データ等を蓄積・分析し、地域のマーケティングデータとして活用することで、観光を軸とした地域経済の活性化によって好循環なまちの営みを創出し、持続可能なまちづくりの実現を目指します。
