マツダ、「MAZDA MX-30 e-SKYACTIV R-EV」の量産を開始

カーボンニュートラル実現に向けて、生産工程における環境負荷低減の取り組みを推進

東京, 2023年06月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - マツダ株式会社（以下、マツダ）は、6月22日に宇品第1工場（広島県広島市）にて、欧州向けの「MAZDA MX-30 e-SKYACTIV R-EV」の量産を開始しました。ロータリーエンジン搭載車を量産するのは、2012年6月の「マツダ RX-8」の量産終了以来約11年ぶりで、累計生産台数は199万台を超えています。

MX-30 e-SKYACTIV R-EVは、日常の幅広いシーンにおいてバッテリーEVとして使える85kmのEV走行距離*1を備え、ロータリーエンジンの発電によってさらなる長距離ドライブにも対応、さらに、その走行の全てをモーターで駆動する独自のプラグインハイブリッドモデルです。

マツダ初の量産バッテリーEVとして2020年に導入し、マイルドハイブリッドモデル、そして新たにプラグインハイブリッドモデルをラインアップに加えたMX-30は、カーボンニュートラル実現に向けたマルチソリューション戦略を体現するモデルです。さらに、内装材としてコルクや再生材からできた生地などの環境に配慮した素材の積極的な採用に加え、生産工程においても環境負荷の低減に取り組んでいます。

マツダは、今後も2050年のサプライチェーン全体でのカーボンニュートラルに向け着実に挑戦を進め、豊かで美しい地球と永続的に共存できる未来を目指してまいります。
