トヨタ、購入後もクルマが進化“クルマの価値”を高める取り組みを加速

お客様のプリウス Uグレードを対象に「アップグレード」サービスの受付を開始

豊田, 2023年06月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車株式会社（以下、トヨタ）は、“クルマの価値”を高める取り組みの一環として、お客様がすでにお乗りのクルマを技術革新に合わせてタイムリーに「進化」させる「アップグレード」サービスを、6月22日より開始しました。対象車両はプリウス Uグレードとなります。

これまでもトヨタは、KINTO FACTORY＊1を通じて新車購入時に未装着だった装備の後付けなどを提供してきましたが、今回のアップグレードサービスでは、「アップグレードレディ設計」を実装した車両を対象に、高度運転支援技術「トヨタチームメイト」の機能「アドバンストパーク」などこれまで選択することができなかった安全・安心装備や機能の後付けを新たに可能としました。

「アップグレードレディ設計」は、車両開発の段階から、アップグレードに必要な施工作業を想定し、大幅に時間短縮できる構造をあらかじめ織り込んで設計することで、将来登場する装備や機能を後付可能とするものです。

トヨタは、今後もモビリティ・カンパニーへの変革を進めるべく、お乗りのクルマを進化させるアップグレードメニューや車種の拡充を進め、愛車として長く乗り続けていただける取り組みを進めてまいります。
