トヨタ、豊田通商と三菱化工機、バイオガスから水素を製造する装置をタイに初めて導入し年内に稼働開始

鶏糞や廃棄食料由来のバイオガスを利用、タイのカーボンニュートラル実現に貢献

豊田, 2023年06月26日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車株式会社（以下、トヨタ）、豊田通商株式会社（以下、豊田通商）、三菱化工機株式会社（以下、三菱化工機）は、バイオガスから水素を製造する装置を、タイ国内に初めて導入します。

今回、導入する水素製造装置は三菱化工機が製作を担当し、2023年11月にタイに導入したのち現地の鶏糞や廃棄食料由来のバイオガスから水素を製造するためのものです。

また、水素製造にあたっては、トヨタと豊田通商が協力して、バイオガスや水素の圧縮、貯蔵、輸送に関わる全体のシステム構築および導入、運用体制の構築を検討します。

さらに、従来の水素ステーション関連設備としての水素製造装置とは異なるため、現地事情も加味した設計の適正化について、3社およびそれぞれの現地事業体とも連携を図り、議論しながら進めてまいります。

こうして、水素を「つくる・はこぶ・ためる・つかう」ためのタイでの一連の取り組みの一環としてこの装置を活用していく予定です。

今後も3社は、日本の水素関連技術を活用し、各国・地域に合わせたクリーンエネルギーの活用促進に努め、様々なステークホルダーの皆様と連携し、水素社会とその先にあるカーボンニュートラル社会の実現に貢献してまいります。
