三菱商事など、北海道におけるLNGトラック向け小型LNG充填設備の実証事業が環境省に採択

東京, 2021年05月20日 - (JCN Newswire) - 環境省事業「令和3年度 CO2排出削減対策強化誘導型技術開発・実証事業」として、三菱商事株式会社（以下「三菱商事」）と、エア・ウォーター株式会社（以下「エア・ウォーター」）が推進する「小規模分散型LNG充填所ネットワーク構築による大型トラック物流の低炭素化手法の実証事業」が採択されました。

本事業は、物流施設内に設置可能な小型LNG充填設備（以下｢本設備｣）をIoT技術でネットワーク化することで、大型LNGローリーによる本設備へのLNG配送やLNGを燃料とする大型トラック（以下｢大型LNGトラック｣）へのLNG充填の最適化に加え､燃料に液化バイオメタンを配合することにより従来の軽油燃料に比べて大幅なCO2排出削減の実証を目指すものです。

三菱商事とエア・ウォーターは本設備の商用化に向けて、昨年より北海道での実証試験を行っており*、今回の実証事業受託に際しても引き続き、本設備の有効性および大型LNGトラック実走行時におけるCO2排出量と燃料費の削減効果を確認の上、事業化の検討を行って参ります。
