Ciber Successfully Completes Major SAP(R) Software Rollout for Bridgestone's Australian Subsidiary

Greenwood Village, Co., Jan 14, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Ciber announced today that it teamed up with Bridgestone, the world's largest tire and rubber manufacturer, to successfully implement SAP(R) Business Suite software for Bridgestone in Australia. In the application rollout, Ciber consolidated and standardized Bridgestone's operations systems for more than 250 stores and distribution centers across Australia.

"Ciber stepped in to provide Bridgestone Australia with technical and business leadership, delivering a successful implementation and go-live of SAP software for our tire division. Providing a custom implementation to meet Bridgestone's needs, Ciber deployed SAP software for finance, merchandising, sales, logistics, warehousing, process integration and more. Ciber's implementation of the SAP ERP application replaced legacy applications and involved integrating approximately 50 interfaces to mission-critical business systems for points of sale, freight forwarders, car manufacturers, fleet partners and banks.
